A comprehensive three day class designed to prepare the participant to sit the ITIL V3 Foundation Certification exam. ISO 20000 Foundation training (3 day)
ISO20000 Foundation is 2-day instructor-led course which is focused on Quality Management within the context of ISO/IEC 20000, the International Standard for IT Service Management.
This course:
- Provides students with an understanding of Quality Management
- Addresses the basic concepts of ISO20000
- Prepare students for the EXIN ISO 20000 Foundation exam
NOTE: This course is not recommended for consultants and managers whose roles and responsibilities include preparing internal and/or external organizations for the adoption of ISO20000. The ISO20000 for Consultants course addresses this audience.
CoBiT Foundations (2 day)
The COBIT Foundation course is a one day interactive training course. Participants learn about the need for an IT control framework and how COBIT addresses this need by providing a globally accepted IT governance and control framework. The course explains the elements of the COBIT framework and supporting materials in a logical and example-driven approach for everyone interested in obtaining foundation-level knowledge of COBIT.
ITIL Executive Briefing (half day and full day)
The Executive Briefings are designed to provide a high level overview of the ITIL Service Lifecycle as well as the benefits of IT Service Management using ITIL. This engagement can be modified to fit into an enterpirse wide awareness campaign. The Briefing can also be tailored to deliver messages associated with IT Governance, ISO 20000 and other best practices.
Introduction to Six Sigma Process Improvement
This course has been designed to build your knowledge and capability to improve the performance of IT Service Management processes and subsequently the performance of the business. The main focus of the course is process centric. Your role in process performance improvement is to be through the use of methodologies like six sigma, lean and process management.
By taking this course you will have a well rounded and firm grasp of many of the tools of these methodologies. Further, you will be able to and be required to apply these tools on a process you are part of as both a learning experience and a chance to improe the way your work gets done. We firmly believe this is one of the most effective classes you will ever take.
IT Service Management Process Optimization Workshop
This four week assessment reviews the client's IT organization including the roles for ITSM, existing ITSM processes with regard to their maturity and supporting ITSM technology. The ability to rapidly assess the IT organization is achieved through the us of the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) as a benchmark. Results from this service can lead to identified areas in need of improvement or provide justification to make deeper explorations.
ISO/IEC 20000 Readiness Assessment
Using the Internatinal Standard for IT Service Management, ISO/IEC 20000, areas in need of improvement are identified with the goal of passing an ISO/IEC20000 Certification audit. This assessment can also be used as the first steps of an ITIL based transformation program. Engagment duration varies based upon the defined scope but typically lasts 6 to 8 weeks.
Program/Project Mgmt Office Governance Assessment
An effective PMO not only creates transparency but can also serve as a critical success factor for regulatory compliance. This assessment evaluates the strategic, tactial and operational levels of a PMO and delivers a report that reflects the PMO's performance and conformance.
Datacenter Enviornmental Assessment
This service is designed to identify environmental conditions that impact a system's availability, serviceability, maintainability and reliability. UNIX Security
